Sparrowhawk stops for a drink

Sparrowhawk.jpgAddlestone resident Brenda Voice emailed the Herald today to share a photograph of a sparrowhawk in her garden.

It had caught a dove,and was just having and stopped to enjoy a drink at the birdbath.

If you have photographed wildlife in the area please upload them to the Herald website. The more unusual the better.

My daughter spotted a sparrowhawk in our garden off Crockford Park Road Addlestone last year so maybe it's the same one returned.
