The Princess Alice Hospice 'Look Good Feel Great' patient makeover day on Friday 10 of October saw project partner and world famous hairdresser Trevor Sorbie and the FAMOUS make up team return to host a day of patient pampering. The event held to coincide with World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on Saturday 11 October comes very soon after the incredible success of a visit from Trinny and Susannah on September 24.
The Day Hospice team are very pleased to announce that Trevor Sorbie M.B.E will be attending every 'Look Good Feel Great' event for the next 6 months.

'During my first visit to the Princess Alice Hospice in June I realised how important the work I do with www.mynewhair.org is and how by bringing my work to a hospice setting I could help even more women. It is great to work with local stylists from Academy Hairdressers and to have the opportunity to pass on knowledge so that they can customize wigs in their salons, which are local to the Hospice's patients".
Patients were able to experience some celebrity and high glamour makeovers courtesy of Sue Moxley and the FAMOUS team, joining the makeover professionals was 'ITV at the Movies' Red Carpet Reporter, Style TV presenter and WAG Lizzie Cundy. Sue and Lizzie gave make up and styling advice to patients and Lizzie even did an impromptu fashion show with two Eric Way couture gowns she brought in to donate to the charity.
Inspirational speaker and media personality Leanne Grose also returned to the event as a roving reporter for her radio show on Westside 89.6 FM. The event was also covered national newspaper The Sun, video streams will be featured on The Sun Online.

'It is an amazing experience coming to the Princess Alice Hospice and seeing all that the team do to make the women look and feel great. It would be great if every hospice in the country could put on these magical days and that is why I have returned as roving reporter to help raise the profile of this wonderful project".
The next event is taking place on Wednesday 19 November and will have a 'Fashion and Sparkles' theme. There will be a fashion and millinery show and a visit from a specialist eye make up company who use crystals and jewels to create amazing and beautiful eyes.
