chequeweb.jpgFootballer Neil Harris collected a cheque from an Addlestone-based golf centre for Everyman Male Cancer Campaign on June 27.

The Milwall striker collected the cheque for £6,660.09 which TopGolf raised at its three centres in New Haw Road, Addlestone, Watford and Chigwell, by donating 5p from every game played in June and by holding a series of fundraising events.

The building plans for a mortuary that was to be built in Albert Road, Addlestone, has had to be held off due to a lack of donations.

The Islamic group that were supposed to building a cold store room this summer have had to delay their plans for a number of months.

There will be a Dad's breakfast at St Paul's Church Hall on Saturday (August 1) from 9.30 until 11am.

The social event for Dad's and their kids will involve games and music for the youngsters, while the adults enjoy breakfast and conversation.
