THE number of people seeking advice on problems caused by unemployment has risen 40 per cent compared to the same time last year.

Figures recorded by the Runnymede Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) have revealed that inquires linked to unemployment such as rent arrears, unfair dismissals, and mortgage payments are at an all time high.

A new production of Charles Dickens' classic festive tale, A Christmas Carol, is coming to Jubilee High School in Addlestone.

The performance, in the main hall in School Lane, on Tuesday November 24, is suitable for adults and children over seven alike, and involves masks and puppets.

Audience members will also be invited backstage to learn more about the production and characters.

Remembrance Sunday

At 9.45am a parade will embark from the gates of Victory Park in Chertsey Road to St Paul's Church, in Church Road.

At 10.15am a service will start at St Paul's including the Act of Remembrance at 11am.
