Emma Heseltine: I'm the reporter dedicated to covering stories from Addlestone, Chertsey and Byfleet, and the surrounding villages. This is my first reporting job and I've been writing about the area for almost a year. I grew up and still live in Addlestone, so I know the area well.

Rupert Basham: I found a passion for writing while at university, and it is something that I wish I had picked up on earlier. I grew up in Weybridge and most of my family and friends live in the surrouding areas. The Surrey Herald is my first journalistic job and it gives me an opportunity to interact with the community I grew up with. My hobbies and interests are football, music, film and american literature.
